Why was my payment declined?

Payments may be declined for various reasons.  Orders over $500 require ACH/E-Check.  This helps prevent fraud and allows us to keep our prices affordable.  If you have payment issues and need help, email us at help@hungrysantatrading.com.

When will my order ship?

Unless we need to contact you for an order issue, or you have otherwise been notified of a delay, we will generally process, package, and ship your order the same or next business day.  Once it is processed by UPS or USPS, you will receive an email with tracking information.

How do I know which elastic insert/harness/backstrap I need?

We offer compatibility information on product pages.  If it’s offered in a bundle, it definitely works together, although you still need to select the appropriate caliber.  Elastic inserts are designed to work with specific caliber magazines, such as 5.56 or .308, while different sizes are designed to work with different chest rigs, which will be noted in the compatibility information on the elastic insert product pages. Generally, if a caliber uses the same magazine, it will work with the insert.  For example, .300 Blackout uses 5.56 caliber magazines, and will work with 5.56 inserts.  6.5 Creedmoor uses 7.62/.308 magazines, and will work with .308 inserts.

How do I attach my Sling?

Our slings have sliplocks on the ends which can secure the webbing after it is looped through our QD sling swivels (included with our sling bundles or purchased separately).  You can also loop the webbing through webbing holes on some AR stocks, or traditional sling mounts used with shotguns & hunting style bolt action rifles, although we do not currently offer this type of sling mount.  

How do I adjust my Sling?

Our slings have a quick adjust feature in the front for use after the sling is adjusted to the right length in the rear. 

To adjust the length of the webbing on the rear of the Slingus™, position the sliplocks in the position you want on the webbing, and then feed the second layer of webbing back through the slip lock corner first, pulling it until it is the desired length.  

Does your placard/harness/insert work with my plate carrier/chest rig from this other company?

We do our best to design our equipment to play nice with others.  For example, our placard chest rigs use Quick Attach female buckles on the sides that can be removed for use with a plate carrier, and our top buckles are around 6.25 inches apart – which should work, but we can’t guarantee anything we haven’t personally tested ourselves.  Our elastic inserts are generally sized equivalent to others, but we can’t guarantee they will fit any chest rigs other than ours.

Can I change my order?

If you are unsure of what to order, feel free to send us an email before ordering and we’ll do our best to help you out.  If you have already ordered, you can send an order change request to help@hungrysantatrading.com and if we see the email before processing the order for shipping, we may be able to change it or issue a refund so you can select the items you want.  We make an effort to regularly check and respond to help requests, but we can’t guarantee that we will see the request prior to processing.  Once we process the order for shipping, we are unable to change the order and returns would fall under our Warranty and Returns Policy.  

What warranty do you offer?

Most of our items come with a one year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship, excluding normal wear & tear, abuse, etc.  All of our warranty information can be found in our Warranty and Returns Policy found here.

Can I return my item?

Why don’t you sell to California and New York?

We currently ship to 48 U.S. states. Due to evolving regulatory and compliance requirements in CA and NY, we’re working on ensuring full legal compliance before opening sales in those states. Feel free to join our email list and you will be notified when products become available in these states.

Do you offer LEO/MIL discounts?

We founded Hungry Santa Trading Company primarily to offer affordable, high quality equipment that’s designed to fit the needs of civilians.  As such, any of our discounts and promotions are open to everyone.  The best way to make sure you don’t miss them would be to sign up to our email list and follow us on social media.

Are your products Made in the USA, or just assembled in the USA?

Any of our products that are labeled Made in the USA are made in the USA from USA materials and components.  We support American manufacturing and small businesses.

Do you do custom items/colors?

It depends.  You can always send us an email and ask, but don’t get upset if the answer is no, which it probably is just due to time/material constraints.  We are looking forward to increasing our color and item offerings over time.  If you’re worried about a backstrap not fitting or something of that nature, feel free to send us an email and we’ll accommodate you if we can.  Most of our equipment is one size fits most.

Why should I trust your gear?

You shouldn’t trust any gear unless you’ve tested it yourself.  We design our gear in a way that minimizes single points of failure and provides high quality durability.  We test our gear and go through multiple redesign/prototype/test cycles before releasing it.  We manufacture it ourselves with the highest quality materials we can find, and you can learn more about some of our processes and designs on our social media.  At the end of the day, only you can decide what gear you’re confident in based on your experience.  If you do find a problem with any of our gear, we’d love to hear about it so we can solve the problem as soon as possible.
